Is the Demo free, and will my progress carry over?

The Wielders of the Essence Demo is free on Steam and needs no Playtest invitation. Progress from the updated Demo is planned to carry over to the full release.

Wielders of the Essence is planned for November 5, 2026 on Steam, with Windows and macOS requirements. The listed game is single-player; PS5 and Xbox editions have not been announced.

What does the first Settlement upgrade give you?

In Demo builds 0.29.0 and 0.32.0, upgrading I Settlement costs 500 gold, 10 wood and 10 stone. It unlocks two troop slots, two spell slots and access to stronger upgrades.
